Suzuki 140 2stroke stalling

"I have a 95 suzuki 140 that runs great above 1500rpms but stalls below that. Will idle good on land once warm but in water always stalls and sputters at low rpms, tough to trailer. Changed plugs and cleaned carbs, should i change wires? Adjust lean fuel screw? Any help would be appreciated."

no air filter on those motors.

no air filter on those motors....sounds like your throtle positioning sensor has gone bad or you didnt adjust it properly when you cleaned the carbs....that is important for your idle and take off
