Suzuki 115 DF water cooling problem

Hi, I recently took my 2018 Suzuki 115 out and it wasn’t peeing when it had been previously. I was able to idle back to the dock which was about a 30 minute trip and it never overheated. I took it home and put a new impeller kit with gaskets, etc… in it. I put it on the ear muffs and she wasn’t peeing so I went through and blew out each of the water lines around the motor and it doesn’t appear that anything is clogged. I was able to attach a hose to the flush port and water comes out the intake at the bottom and through the prop as well as it pees perfectly like that. Would I be able to rule out a clogged line if that was possible and what else might be causing her not to pee all of a sudden? We did the impeller replacement step by step alongside a video and believe we couldn’t have messed up anything there. Any ideas on what to try next? Again, I can start it and run it and it doesn’t appear to be overheating. I’m even put it in a Tupperware container so that the intakes were covered up by a couple of inches. She’s peed on just the ear muffs before as well.

Have you tried running it in a barrel big enough to submerge the water pump plus 3”-4” above the water pump since your water pump replacement? Sometimes the muffs just don’t work even though they worked fine previously.

Often the “pee” circuit” will plug up with debris yet you have a pee stream when using a flush port. Strange. A common suggestion is running weed wacker cord in the pee hole to unblock any debris.
