Stripped Threads on support for trailering arm bracket 1999 200 hp

"I have a 200 hp 1999 evinrude. the threads are stripped out on the support that holds the two screws (bolts). I do not use this, but want it fixed for appearance. Heli Coilo, Lock tite, j b weld Suggestions"
