strange horn sounds

i have a 91 evinrude 150 . while out on lake this weekend the horn sounded i first thought i had forgotten the oil but not the case the horn would beep fast at hi rpm and slow at lo rpm had not heard it this way bebore any help would be wounderful THANKS

Sounds like a horn failure. However try disconnecting the VRO oil level alarm from the tank and see if it stops.
