STILL "water in oil"

Take A Chance

New member
Well, after changing oil three times getting water out and tightening down my intake bolts; I’ve found that I’m still getting fresh water in the oil. Haven’t removed the intake to look at gaskets but wondering if that’s my next step, pull it and replace them?
Any thoughts on another direction to possibly go?
Thanks……….

I'd hunt down a pressure tester before taking the intake off. Most of the time, the gaskets get destroyed and a post mortem is difficult. You'll need an new set with a tube of RTV. If it is a major exercise to get an intake gasket set, I've seen RTV used on more than one occasion.

Thanks for the reply…. How would you approach this using a pressure gauge?
Luckily, I do have a set of gaskets already so that won’t be an issue.
