"OK I have an aq125b, I just replace the bell housing bearing and probably made a mistake which won't let me turn the engine to a full turn, I can only think of one mistake when mounting everythingh back in place. looking at the Seloc and Clymer I saw a bearing lock or whatever is call that stops the shaft from going towards the engine, is a lock that goes on the shaft right after the bell housing bearing, please help could this be my problem ?"

"You cannot make many mistakes there. There are three lock rings (circlips) in the bellhousing assembly: two large ones and one small (this last one goes in the shaft), and they must be fitted in their respective grooves. However, I don't see why installing wrongly a circlip could prevent you from turning the engine. I presume you have tried to turn by hand the shaft in the bellhousing before attaching it to the engine, right?

If you have installed everything in the boat and the outdrive is attached again to the bellhousing, is it possible that you did not introduce the u-joint in the primary shaft spline?"
