"I was looking for a replacement intermediate housing for a OMC inline 6 with electric shift. I have a tru-course steering system. I picked up a free housing but it was not the right on. It was for a V8 application. It had this steering box mounted to the intermediate housing which I think works with a telescopic cable. It has a lever that connects to the box which when moved turns the steering gear in the intermediate housing. I was told this is a power assist system. Anyone ever heard of this system. I have the intermediate housing and bell housing with this system, in excellent condition. I need the intermediate housing for an inline 6 OMC electric shift stringer application 1973 800 series. What is the system worth that I described that I can't use and is anyone willing to trade me for the application I need. Any response will be appreciated."
