Steering Question

I have a 1988 50 HP Merc, 3 cyl. and need to find a sterring cable,
the one I removed is a Teleflex SSC21/17FT, the problem is that
I can't find one with that number, there are SSC cables, but not 21?

Anyone know anything about these???

Turns out that Teleflex has an adapter to adapt the old
steering box to a new cable...
