steering problem

I have a 69 evinrude 25 HP and the steering handle ( part # 80 ) is broke. Will a handle from a 78 Johnson 25 HP fit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's actually the big bracket and shaft in front not the tiller handle. That's why I thought one from a 78 Johnson might fit, they are both 25 HP.
