I need to replace a frozen ste

I need to replace a frozen steering cable .(teleflex) on a 140hp suzuki outboard/ 19 ft. boat.
The boat and motor are 10 years old so is it a good idea to replace the helm and cable with a kit or just do the cable?
Also should I get the standard kit or the no feedback kit?

I just replaced the cable and helm in mine. I had to do both because the new cable wasn't compatible to the old helm. You'll want to check to ensure compatibility. If you have to do both make sure you have a wheel puller to get the steering wheel off. Good Luck!
 
I replaced mine with a helm/ca

I replaced mine with a helm/cable kit. Used a 2 x 4 and some penetrating oil to get the old steering wheel off.
