Thought I had power trim motor problem. Turns out it is the end bushing on engine mounting bracket. Makes a horrific screeching sound when raising or lowering plus bad vibration. Dealer says to use it "till it breaks" as the boat would need to be hauled and the engine taken off the boat to repair!!! Yikes. Has anyone experienced this fault?
What happens when it breaks other than moter can't be raised? Anyone know approximately what this repair would cost?
