Stator mount repair

Hello All,
Well, I seem to have run at WOT, and, something broke and engine shut down. Got it back to the garage and the stator tested as bad. After removing the flywheel, discovered that the stator bolts somehow came lose, and, well you can guess the result. Anyways, to my main question. I need to do some weld repair on the mount that holds the stator. I need to know what the best alloy of welding rod to use in the repair. I have on hand E4043 aluminum and also E5356 aluminum filler rod. I know one is just abit softer than the other. I have found a used part to replace the one I have trashed, it came in with one small crack that I want to repair and get everything back together. Other than the small crack on the part, it is in pristine condition. And was $40.
to get a new part it is around $275. I am completely confident that the part will work great in the condition it is in, but I would feel better to touch up the one spot.
The Motor is 1994 2.5 XRi 200 HP
Thanks all for any input.
