Starting problems

My 1989 King Cobra will start but then stalls. I changed the gas water separator filter but it still does the same a friend said it could be a vacuum leak. Any suggestion on were to start

Ayuh,..... Have ya Checked to see if it's loosin' electrical Power, or runnin' Outa gas,..??
