Starting problems- 74 135 Johnson

I have a 74 135 Johnson that has issues with the starting circuit somewhere. There is power to the key switch on remote(B on switch) and when switch is in on postion,there is power to motor(M on switch),but when turned to start,no power goes to start (S on switch) and push to choke does not work. I have replaced the switch,and the same issue. This happened suddenly,running for 10-15 mins,shut off,then nothing. I did check starter,solenoid,fuse on motor,all checked out good. Is there something I am missing? I have worked on boats most of my life,and this one has me stumped! I did check all wires in harness for remote control to motor for continuity,all passed. Would bad kill switch (lanyard) prevent power to start? Motor would still turn over,just not start,correct? Bad neutral switch? Bad buzzer? Any help would be greatly appreciated and a link to a wiring diagram for the motor would be fantastic,thanks in advance!.......Boatguy.

I ask dumb questions. Do you have the new switch wired correctly ?? There should be no power on the M terminal.

Agreed 12 volts should not be anywhere near the M terminal.
