Starter friction spring

i have a 53 evinrude &the

i have a 53 evinrude &the starter friction spring broke does that have to be put back on with a winding tool also does the 3 small equalizer springs that go from the pawl to the equalizer cup have to be factory ordered they are 15 dollars apiece & does the equalizer cup spring have to be put in with any special tools
