Let me try again! On two occa

Let me try again! On two occasions after an extended period of running at "no wake" speed my 350 Bravo has lost power and would not restart. I am told that at slow speed the engine compartment gets too hot and the fuel system fails. The stated solution is to keep the blower "on" moving fresh air into the engine area. I am also told that there is a recall on a fuel modulator that must be replaced. Any input on this issue would be appreciated!

So what are you missing spark or fuel?

When it shut down and not restart did you pull a plug and hold it to the block to see if you had spark? Or pull a plug wire and with a spare plug in the wire hold that to the block?

Your reply is needed for another reply from me.

"Thank you for responding! Ye

"Thank you for responding! Yes, there was a spark - the engine restarted after a 15 - 20 minute shut down."

"Change the blower to a 4"

"Change the blower to a 4" and run it all the time. You'll need to change the plastic outlet to accept a 4" hose. If the air inlet has one of the ports blocked off, open it and add another hose to it and run it to the front of the intake for cooler air to the engine; no fan needed for it."

For sure a bad modulator ok ch

For sure a bad modulator ok change it out.

Then when you run back to the dock in a no wake zone have you tried to open the dog house and see if that fixs the problem?

There are fuel coolers on the market but that for a another post.
