I have a intermentent sqeekin

I have a intermentent sqeeking noise and at low idle speeds and a vibration(duplicates a bent or broken prop vibration) on the whole boat. It is coming from rear of the engine compartment/front of stern drive. sounds kinda like dry bearings...not sure though. any help would be good...thanks in advance

" You better start by removing

" You better start by removing the outdrive unit and checking the driveshaft, U-joints and gimble bearing. If you dont see or feel anything, check the coupler on the back of the engine. The coupler may be separating out of its rubber hub. Its difficult to see unless you remove the engine, but if you crank the engine over and look with a flashlight through the rear you may notice a wobble. (Did you hit anything?) Check the prop shaft as well.
