I have the Johnson 1971 20HP outboard motor (Model 20R71S). Just yesterrday, while attempting to start the motor, the spring inside the manual start (I don't know the name) assemby broke. I know this because the rope extended all the way out and did not retract. After opening the unit, we determined that one end of the spring just broke off. Does anyone know of a replacement part number for this spring? Do I have to replace the entire assembly?
