Spray Arc on Tohatsu 9.8 4 stroke

Hi Everyone, I'm learning about boating, engines, and all. My 9.8 runs great, but I am getting an arc of spray at the back of the boat, looks like from the prop. There are no weeds, and it happens above 1/2 throttle and above. The water from the arc is almost coming into the back of the boat (14 foot aluminum fishing boat). Could it be the trim tab or the angle of the engine to the back of the boat that causes this arc? I have not noticed anything like this on other boats. Or is it normal?

Chances are the engine is not correctly mounted to the boat. Try rasing the engine a little on the transom.

That was my first guess, after thinking about it the last couple of days. I'll give it a shot.
