Spark plugs

I have a 60hp 3cyl Mercury tha

I have a 60hp 3cyl Mercury that I want to verify
has the right spark plugs in it. The engine is a 1988 model and has autolights in in now. Can someone please tell me where I can get this info. I am wanting to put NGK plugs back in it.

"Rich, The listings for outboard spark plugs are easy to find. You can also find the plugs at many auto parts stores (Autozone, Pep Boys..) You can probably do a search on the web, although I haven't had too much luck. If your plugs are the surface gap type, you probably will use a NGK BUHW, BUHW-2 or a resistor plug variant of these."
