i was just wondering what is better for stripped out spark plug threads.. bak-tap fix tool or heli-coil?? thanks in advance....

I've never tried the bak-tap tool, but I seriously doubt it is going to work on stripped threads. Possibly on buggered-up or cross-threaded holes, I don't know.

If you are going to use a Heli Coil witch would be my choice also make sure you get the right thread depth. Also when you break the insert tang off do it with a pair of needle nose pliers so you know the tang is out of the cylinder.

Welcome. Depending on application it may be better to just replace the head. Got to look at the possibility that it might need a head gasket or perhaps the head has corrosion ........several factors come into play. Many heads are available used and inexpensive. What motor are you working on?

This is why I use Keensert as it is a permanent repair and wont pull out if overnighted like a helicoil will
