Spark plug question

I have a 1976 Merc 1500.Took it out yesterday, started fine an ran great all day but i noticed water dropping out of the spark plugs sockets from the start. What is causing this to happen?

A leaking gasket would be my first guess.When you remove that cover,plenty of heat on those bolts
