HI can any one tell me if I can use champion UL77v spark plug on this 1975 85hp evinrude or what type of plugs should I use model # is 85593-e. thanks for any advise.

I am presently running that sa

I am presently running that same motor on my pontoon and I have found out that it performs best with a QL77JC4 plug gaped at 40. This gives me less plug fouling at idle in no wake zone and better fuel mileage at wot. The Q helps with the electronics I have onboard.
