"hi there, i would be grateful
"hi there, i would be grateful of some information re an old evenrude please.
i do not know the model #, i have tried to find it but only found serial #, it was actually made in belgium according to plate.
i am wanting to replace the spark plugs, currently has champion j6j plugs, so i ordered some ngk b6s, as they were advertized as equivs.
i since found out that maybe they should be ngk br6hs or champion ql86c.
the engine is 2cyl 2stroke with no gears and no clutch, has 360degree turning.
it only has choke knob and mixture settings are screws accessed through cover, there is no external knob for lean/rich as i know there is on later models.
i think it may be 1960 or 1970 model but don't know.
is it possible from this information to say whether b6s will be ok, or should i order some br6hs, my supplier doesn't have the champions.
thanks
kevin"
