spark plug change - 100 hours

would you guys change plugs after 100 hours? I didn't get a chance to fog the engines so they'll be "clean" to start. They look great but not sure if I should base changing them strictly on hours.

I wouldn't change them just because the clock ticked, especially if you have an HEI ignition.

Before Fuel prices went into the thin air, we'd routinely get many 100's of hours of a set of plugs, without any maintenance required. As long as the Gap is reasonable and the elctrodes haven't eroded, the only other concern is corrosion.

I hit 100hrs on my plugs over the summer, pulled one, looked brand new, and the engine was running perfectly. Figured it was better to keep them in then screwing something up royally....clean treated fuel and proper timing and blowing out the engine once and a while is all that is needed

As mentioned, I too would agree. In fact, 3 years ago I had bought a case of MR43T plugs on eBay...50 plugs in a styrofoam sleeve. I still have 34 of them. My F-150 just hit 251,000 miles with its 2nd set of plugs being changed last week. The electrode and ceramic looked darn good for that wear and tear. BUT, I did go for the new ones.
