Spark plug blew out 1964 9.5 hp

was testing a 1964 9.5 and was running fine until the buttom plug blew out. The plug had been badly cross threaded and the head threads are shot. Short of replacing the head(a possibility) is there a fix

"I don't know if the dealers have them for your motor, but I put a new cylinder head on my 1975 9.9Hp for $110.00. Like jwbmarine, I got tired of the heli-coil that was in it when I acquired it, unwinding back out and eventually unsealing the plug. Motor really complains, when that happens.

I have a 200 hp evinrude. The threads are stripped in the aluminumm that holds the two stainless steel bolts (screws) that hold the trailering arm support bracket.Any suggestions?

The repair kits work well. The key is using loctite red to permanently set the insert.
