"Only when on the water and running does this happen. At 3/4 throttle my 25HP gets that booooggggggg sound and won't accelerate. When in nuetral it will rev right up full throttle. Does this under a load/when in gear. I have the remote steering wheel and push pull cables for throttle and drive. I have in the past as an experiment removed the cover. While a friend drove and went to 3/4 throttle, I manually pushed the linkage forward for the spark advance and off to the races we went. Problem solved. Is this problem resulting in a need to adjust the throttle cable barrel at the motor? If so is there a predetermined amount of turns from the end of the cable the barrel should be?"
