Can someone recommend a solvent to clean a flame arrestor.

"I have soaked them in hot water with some dish soap and then scrubbed them with a brush and gotten good results. Some guys put them in the dishwasher when their wives are not looking.

I just used a can of wal-mart&

I just used a can of wal-mart's brand of carb spray (about $1.29 on sale) and a brush to clean mine. Good as new. I'd put it on some old newspapers to reduce the mess.
