"The BB140A saga continues. I rebuilt both carbs and reinstalled. It ran well and I ordered the synchronizer. Then it wouldn't run well enough to synchronize. The forward carb was dry, the new float valve was stuck closed. Cleaned it up again and reinstalled, I can't find anything wrong except that the float is at 28 cm, should be at 22-26. Is this enough to cause the valve to jam? The thinnest shim is under the float valve, can I bend the tab to get it into the 22-26 cm spec?
You guys are a great resource. I am very appreciative of all advice.
This boat is not leavin the back yard until everything is perfect, it's lookin about Labor Day....
