Smart Craft monitor for 2004 - 4.3MPL Mercruiser

My Smartcraft monitor is not registering water pressure on the starboard engine. Port engine is working fine. I don't know where the monitor connects to the engine to find out if it is disconnected or broke. Also, where is the sea water strainer located. I want to check it to see if there is clogged. Thanks

First, does the engine come up to operating temperature? If you have an out drive you should not have a sea strainer.

The engine comes up to 158 degrees and is OK until I run at 3000 rpm and above and then it over heats.

Sounds like you need a raw water pump.
