"Im trying to find a small fuel flow meter which can be located in-line between the fuel tank and carbs ? Digital or anolog doesnt matter as long as i can record the flow of fuel at these relativly small levels. Having great difficulty finding a supplier of such equipement, can anyone point me in the right direction ?
The history:
Ive tried a number of fuel efficiency tests all of which prove to be inaccurate and unreliable. Im now taking a different approach by looking to set a small fuel flow guage between the main fuel tank and the carbs and measure the volume of fuel used over a set period of time e.g 2 min at a set rpm. Running this method over 1000, 2000, 3000, 4000 and 5000 rpm at two min intervals will provide the data i need. This approach should give me the ability to plot an accurate fuel efficiency graph and at the very least show me accuratly what is the most effiecent cruising speed under these same conditions of displacement etc.
