Hey everyone,I have a 1998 4.3 lx mercruiser.Boat sat for 2 seasons covered and winterized.Long story short the starter ear broke off and I got a friend to weld the block and it works we replaced with a marine OEM Starter.Carb was gummed up replaced it drained all the fuel replaced with all new filters boat runs awsome.I checked oil prior to starting it was a little milky but figured condensation after running for 20 mins on shore I checked oul again it's like pudding is it possible water ran down the carb or I have a water jacked issue or cracked block?any help is appreciated.I started flushing the motor.
