slowing 1975 OMC tilt

Is there any way to slow down the speed of the trim? Hitting the switch in short pulses helps.

That may not be a trim function.-----Just tilt only for low speed operation or on the trailer.----Any pictures?

Sorry!!!!! I know better!!! not a trim meant to say TILT this boat has no trim adjustment.

And that tilt is only for beaching / trailering / shallow water operation.-----No adjustment as far as I know.

They all crash down & sound like it's going to break. I always just use a quick flick of down. BTW, I've owned 5 electric shifts & all were the same.
