Slow Trailer Tilt

1987 Alpha one: The tilt works normally with the upper (running the boat) tilt and trim switch, but the motor turns much slower with the trailer tilt switch. Is there a separate solenoid (with dirty connection perhaps?) that's operated by this switch?

So, it has to be a poor voltage signal from the dud switch to the solenoid.
