Do you have a digital multimeter? You'll have to do some testing. Is there power at the switch ? Here's a wiring diagram for the motor. -Mike VZ Wiring Diagram.jpg

You will need to check the battery rigging cable from the engine. Make sure there are no splices. If the cable is stiff and cracks when you flex it, it needs to be changed. I have measured voltage drops on the yamaha battery cables in excess of 9 volts.

All is well there . I have 12 volts testing in the fuse box. no apperant damage or fuse on the way out . I hoping to find someone who has had this problem thanks

Ive not run a test to the switch . The trim on the motor isn t working either and dint know if it runs to the front switch to have to power that switch if that makes sense Thanks for the diagram!

The trim motor is powered through the engine battery rigging cable. The switch at the helm is a remote switch that is powered from the engine.
You should hook up your meter and then activate the trim switch and see if you maintain battery voltage.

Resolved!! Checked voltage and did have a drop . Pulled it back out and found a bus connector that had loosened on the small ground . Redid the connection on the wire and all is well!!
Thanks for all your help!!
