Is there anything that can be dont to a silanoid (sp?) that has a broken post on it or is it time to replace it? Just wondering...

i HAVE A MERCURY 115 HP OB AND

i HAVE A MERCURY 115 HP OB AND ITDOES EVENTUALLY START ILL LET IT WARM UP AND GOTO PUT IT IN FORWORD GEAR AND IT DIES AND WILL NOT GO INYO FORWORD BUT DOES GO INTO REVERSE WHATS UP WITH THIS?
