Side bowl, back drag

Idle neddle I've read 3/4 out on smaller motors, on the tower6, with 3 carbs. Rebuilt , is 1 1/2 to 2 out to get running, she has plenty off spark, compression, across the board is 115-120 center 3 cylinders. Runs ok I'll back out idle screws like they where 3 1/2 truns out. Thought 1 turn or then adjust

Just cleaned these carbs on my auld Merc800/80HP 4cyl. She runs on 1 1/2 turns out. Runs very well, but I haven't had her to the water yet to set idle to best.

Thanks. Backed out 2 1/2 this morning and runs alot better, next is put in the water.
