shirt wires

i removed my lower unit and forgot to mark the shift wires so im not sure which one goes were how can i figure it out

Look carefully blue goes to blue and green to green.--------If that does not help than hook them up.-------If it does not work properly then reverse them !-----------You could remove the sparkplugs and turn the flywheel with a wrench to see how it shifts , or--------It will shift just cranking with the starter so you could do a test with dry carburetors.

ok cool ya cause the wires on the powerhead side are so old there pretty much black
