Shift cable

Could use some input here. I need a new shift cable for a 1956 RDE-18. The cables I’ve found say pre 1979. Does this really cover all the models back to 1956?

Yes. You might have to change the 1/4 turn cable lock on the motor to accommodate the updated adjustment feature on the new cable.
