close to starting the DIY procedure on shift cable,gimbal bearing and bellows replacement. I have all OEM parts and tools to begin. My boat has thru hull exhaust, which means I have no exhaust flowing thru prop. Is there any reason to install exhaust bellow or exhaust tube? Although there is a exhaust bellow on sterndrive now but I wasn't sure if its blocked off at transom. Thanks for your help.
