I have a 1973 fiberform with a

I have a 1973 fiberform with a 85hp merc serial #4295740. had trouble with shift box locking up. Checkd cables & motor.local boat shop sold me a quicksilver control. My merc controler had two levers and the new one only one. Tried hooking it up and the cables dont seem to work properly.DoI have the wrong controler.
