Shaft leak

Hi all; I have a 1984 Mariner

Hi all; I have a 1984 Mariner 8hp runs fine it is out of water and on a motor stand it seems that it is leaking gear oil from the prop shaft. Any thoughts as to why or what the problem could be?

2 cycle oil will run out the e

2 cycle oil will run out the exhaust when not in use. Its left over from the exhaust gases that are mixed with water and exit the prop area
