Severely misfiring and losing power

The last several times we took the boat out the engine started and idled perfect. After running it at WOT for 3-5 minutes all of the cylinders instantly start to severely misfire and I lose all power and rpm’s drop to below low idle. The engine will either struggle to maintain idle or stall out. The engine then struggles to restart while it’s still warm. If it does restart all cylinders continue to severely misfire and I can’t even get the engine rpm’s up to low idle so the engine will stall out again and usually fails to restart. Once the engine cools down it will start back up and run at idle and WOT perfectly for another few minutes until it warms up and then starts to misfire and stall out again. The engine either runs perfect or is severely misfiring and losing all power/stalling out. The last time I started the engine cold out of the water it idled for about a minute then stalled. I could not get it to restart after that. I’ve had the following items replaced in 2023 after this misfire issue started.

Replaced in 2023 :

• Bellows & shift cable
• Exhaust manifold
• Spark plugs/wires/cap/rotor/ignition module/pickup coil/ignition coil/distributor wire harness
• Fuel filter
• Oil & filter
• Drive unit fluid
• Impeller
• Thermostat

Anyone ever have the same problem and found a solution? Help needed.

If it has the EST distributor, I'd be inclined to replace the pickup coil...they have demonstrated finite lifetimes...

When it happens check with spark gap tester, verify fuel tank vent is not plugged, look at fuel filter contents check that tank pick up tube and anti-siphon valve are not plugged, consider carb rebuild
