What is the procedure for setting ignition timing on a 2003 carbed classic 350. The owners manual indicates a total figure of 26 degrees. Does it need to be placed into a timing mode before checking the total figure at 4k rpm? If so how is this accomplished?

if you have the delco EST (voyager) distributor, yes, you need the timing jumper.
