"When I recently bought a boat

"When I recently bought a boat with a 2002 DT 150 EFI, I bought a Seloc manual for it. I am not totally impressed with the info contained in it or the amount of detail about my motor.

I did a search and found a factory manual at Brown's Point Marine. My question is, will there be enough additional information to warrant the $68 + shipping cost? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks."

"Fred, agree with the above post. I use both Seloc's and factory manuals together.

The Seloc's sometimes explains things/proceedures a little better and gives the "average guy" tips as well as do/don't advice.

The Factory manual is very specific to your model but "assumes" that you are a marine tech and hence, doesn't explain proceedures that it figures you would already know.

Together, the manuals are priceless..."
