Serial number location (Mercury 250 EFI of 1999)

Hi everyone,
I've got a big problem with my Mercury 250 EFI of 1999. I need to know which the serial number is, but the number on the sticker is unreadable. I called the assistance and they told me that there must be two round aluminum plates on the engine on the engine block, but I can't find 'em. Does anyone know their exact location?

you just have to keep looking around, maybe even move some thing on the motor to find it. should be there unless some one removed it.

It's on the right(as U stand behind)on a silver freeze plug on the bottom right of the motor.J
