Serial number confusion

Hi,

I am hoping someone can sort out confusion on serial numbers to a Minn Kota Riptide, namely what year, please?

The seller of this used motor sent me photos of two serial numbers.

The first number is: K256MK00035. The second number is: K229UM0005

I have followed the guides on the internet but still can't work it out. I'm in Australia and perhaps the guides are US based and the serial numbers for Minn Kotas sold in Australia are different??

Can anyone please guide me as to what serial number I should refer to and what year the motor was manufactured? One of the labels also has small print above the serial number I-Pilot 55Lb 54" So I assume it is a 54 inch shaft length.

Any suggestions from someone that knows a lot more than me, would be warmly appreciated, before i pay a deposit and travel 250 miles to pick her up, sight unseen.

Looks like both K229UM0005 and K256MK00035 are 2010 year models being they start with the letter K and in the 2009 - 2021 Serial Number range of serial number look up found in the following website here in the USA?
K - 2010
The 3 numbers right after the letter indicates the day of the year they were made...So day 229 and 256....I'll leave the math up to you of what month they were made though. :D

Thanks, Fun Times, for the advice. What threw me was the seller's suggestion the motor was a 2022 model, thus did not look at the serial number guide for motors manufactured 2010 to 2021. All sorted now thanks to your clarification.
 
If you ever see a Minn Kota starting with 'V', that's the 2021/2022 era. The 'K' is definitely the 2010 run. Safe to say that 250-mile trip would have been a frustrating surprise otherwise.
