serial @ does not exist

I have a mercury outboard 7.5 thunderbolt withb the serial # 7009885 and am looking for information on the year for parts ordering and or possible manual but it does not seem to exist. The # is on the block as well as on the front frame by the starting instructions. I have searched with 0 in front of the serial # as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Yes, agree, 1973 model built in Mississauga, Canada.

For "on-line" parts look-up you can use US serial (starting) 3488153 which is the "mechanically identical" US equivalent.
