Hello i have a 2002 Honda 4 stroke that was seized. I was able to take out the spark plugs, take the fly wheel off, and get it spinning enough to run for the day after putting a little wd40 where the spark plugs were. Towards the end of the day I was running the boat pretty hard and it completely seized again, and after trying the same thing i could get it to spin but not smoothly at all and not enough to get it close to running. The oil looks great, i was told i should change my filter Where do I go from here? Let me add that as much as Ive been on boats my whole life I am not handy or mechanical at all. Would appreciate all feed back.

Was this engine weather seized or from Severe overheating . Or lack of lubrication. ?

Any engine seized from Severe overheating or lack of lubrication. Is not worth running. All the bearings inside would be destroyed. And even if you got it running . It would only make matters worse. Hence it seized again.
Tear it down and rebuild it. Or purchase another power head.
