searching for a location for this zinc

Hi there, I have a SX outdrive on a penta 6.0, and got the anoid kit, for the life of me I cannot find where this happy little piece of sacrificail metal is supposed to go. is it just one that goes to a diffenent outdrive, and I got a generic ket?

I have a different zinc in that spot, but theres a plastic base under it. I can see the bolts where the other shoudl attach. is one better than the other? The existing one seems to have a ground wire of sorts attached to it. htank you and happy fathers day.

There are different material types used for depending on what types of waters you either run in or sit in.

The one you received would have been the original style that comes with the Volvo drive/transom application...Though there are different styles available for the Volvo that would fit too, it appears someone went with the Cube Anode type/s in your photos above.

It's hard to tell if yours is Aluminum, Magnesium or zink but the following links are of the 3 I'm mentioning and a good place to look them up for online,

thanks, its zinc, i'd in salt water. I tried matching up what i could see, but couldnt figure out that extra piece. as always, appreciate the advice.
